Certain conditions inside and outside the home may put a person at risk for injury. Falling is the catalyst for 40% of all nursing home admissions and causes $70B in medical costs each year. The human costs are even greater, as individuals, caregivers and families are impacted by a fall.
Here are some of the things you may want to check out to see how safe your living environment really is.
