Finding a neurologist that understands HSP and PLS can seem a challenge. There are many highly qualified neurologists in your area that understand our neurological conditions.
If you are looking for a multidisciplinary facility, the SPF has partnered with NEALS (Northeast ALS) consortium to create a list of clinics within their 92 member ALS consortium who are currently treating PLS and/or HSP patients and would welcome new ones. These clinics are spread across North America in twenty-seven states and three Canadian provinces.
When you make an appointment with any of these facilities, the phyisican that will see you may or may not be the listed physician. Your appointment will be with the next available physician.
